Traditionally, UK has not recruited the Cincinnati area very effectively, with certain exceptions. But Joker has publicly said his staff is focusing harder on recruiting Cincinnati now. The Rock Oliver angle is interesting, since Jesse knows Rock well. But it will take more than Rock to sign him. Hayes has about 20 D-1 scholarship offers, including about half of the Big Ten, several PAC Ten schools, and a nice assortment of southern programs. Frankly, Jesse is the kind of prospect UK signs only in a very strong recruiting year. If Joker signs Jesse, it's an indicator that UK's staff is recruiting more competitively than UK has recruited previously.Messengernoreply@blogger.com
