Yesterday I received my 2009 UK football media guide in the mail. First, let me say that I was very impressed. I feel the media guide was designed to attract football recruits. The guide has quotes from current Cats in the NFL along with former players. The guide also emphasizes how much UK has improved in each area of the game over the past few seasons. There are a ton of pictures showing the training facility, football fields, and even stats showing that UK plays true freshmen. Remember, this is one of the first things a recruit receives from a team during the recruiting process. The media guide needs to make a statement and this year Kentucky has done just that. If you haven't received one or purchased one, do yourself a favor and go buy one. Overall I was very impressed.
