Rich Brooks says that both Morgan Newton and Mike Hartline will play against Vandy, but the starter will not be determined until game time. I'm still in favor of starting Newton and bringing Hartline off the bench if Newton struggles.
Randall Cobb practiced without his cast today and should be ready to go Saturday. This is great news for UK as I expect Cobb to come up big Saturday.
Trevard Lindley is close to 100% based on reports. Lindley has ran well in practice, which another boost for the UK defense. Hopefully, Lindley can snatch a "pick six" and show the rest of the SEC what the Cats have been missing.
ESPN's Chris Low gives his Week 11 SEC predictions and has the Cats winning over Vandy 21-13. This game presents the opportunity for the Cats to become bowl eligible four consecutive years. Just Win!
Chip Cosby has a nice article about the reserves stepping up to keep the Cats afloat. Everyone from Morgan Newton, Will Fidler, Moncell Allen, Martavious Neloms, Larry Warford, LaRod King to Donald Russell have been key contributors. UK has depth now compared to years past and back ups are expected to perform. This is the biggest sign that UK's recruiting has gotten better in recent years. Fans should be excited, UK has several true freshman who have the potential to be All-SEC selections in the future.
Also, I will be posting highlights of 2010 Football Recruiting Targets and Commits of the next couple of days, so be sure to check back.
