McGriff is listed at 6'3" and 210lbs. He has received interest from UK, Louisville, LSU and Iowa State. We haven't heard his name much around UK recently, but here is his 2009 highlight video. Sometimes Juco players will sign without visiting. They just accept the best offer available for them and visit afterwards.

One has to wonder what it would be like to go from playing out in the middle of a forest somewhere to playing in an SEC stadium. THAT would have to be some real culture shock!
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Looks like Chris Matthews and DeQuin Evans have done okay. They went from LA big city life to Kentucky, from warm to cold, from small crowds to large crowds. Your right though, big culture shock!

Culture shock is right!!! What's funny is Dean College does a lot of its recruiting in the south. Many of the players are used to something a bit different!
ReplyDeleteyes, the scenery is different. I didn't even notice I was blown away by his abilities!! His talent is impressive!!! I have also done some research on Dean College, even though it is a small school in M.A. the competition is real!!!
