The CATS have a new Verbal from South Carolina. Word is spreading that Farrington Huguenin an unrated DE (weakside) and TE, has verballed to UK. Farrington, a 6 ft 3 in 240 lb is from Columbia (Dreher HS), his main school of interest was South Carolina.
He averaged 11 tackles per game on defense, and caused a fumble in one game which he returned for a TD resulting in him being named Defensive Player of the Week. Additionally, he had a total of 4 sacks for the season and caused a total of 3 fumbles.
As a TE, he averaged 19.3 yards per catch.
My guess is, that due to his verbal, Tim Patterson is off of the UK radar and will sign elsewhere due to the numbers game.
It does not seem that he had any real offers other than the one from Kentucky although several sites show that Ellis Johnson was recruiting him for the Gamecocks.
