SEC East Recruiting Needs by ESPN

Chris Low from ESPN breaks down the SEC East Recruiting needs for the 2010 football class. As most UK fans know, the Cats need help on the line (both sides) and another receiver. I'm not too worried about the receiver position, but concerned about the line. The game is won and lost at the line of scrimmage. In my opinion, UK has been really young at receiver and Chris Matthews will be ready to go next season. It's tough for Juco players to step into an offense, just look at Stevie Johnson career.

In my opinion, the Cats priority should be an every down type of running back, offensive line and defensive tackle's. The Cats have several guys who can play defensive end, but we need the big boys to plug holes and allow the linebackers to make plays. I've heard Tim McAdoo may not qualify and Brice Laughlin could play defensive end. If the Cats can land Michael Thornton, it would go a long way towards stabilizing the defensive front over the next couple of seasons. Things will be interesting over the next week, so stay tuned!
