Miles Simpson is set to announce his college destination on Wednesday morning at his high school. Based on reports, his final three schools are Kentucky, Indiana and Illinois. I believe this is a two horse race between Illinois and Kentucky. His recruitment reminds me of Deuce Finch's from last year.

Perhaps this is a dumb question at best, and maybe a harmful question at worst, but do we really even care? Is Simpson a viable SEC running back? It seems our recruitment of him has been really luke-warm.

Kentucky has made 3 or 4 runs at this player and he has never committed.
ReplyDeleteWe still have no RB recruits in hand that have been announced.
He seems to not be interested in Kentucky or he would have committed by now.
I agree with both posts on here. If he wanted to be at UK, he would have already committed. His recruitment hasn't been a hot topic. I think the staff would prefer DJ Howard.
ReplyDeleteI've heard some people say that Simpson would like play defense at the next level. Either way, we'll find out on Wednesday.
