2010 Recruiting Rewind- Ronnie Shields
Ronnie Shields (TE) has the size and speed to make an impact immediately. However, he will have to get stronger to block consistently at tight end. He appears to fit the Jacob Tamme mold of all the incoming Freshmen. Shields runs a 4.6 forty yard dash, but gives up weight compared to Alex Smith and Tyler Robinson. Just like his other two teammates (Sanders & Johnson), he is bringing a winning culture from Georgia to Lexington. Changing the culture at UK is one part of Operation Win that doesn't get discussed.

What culture? I thought we already had a 'change' under Brooks? Remember? Are you saying we have a losing culture? Let's just see where Joker goes. So far Operation Win seems a pretty lame name for a new culture. As opposed to what, Operation Lose or Might Win? I don't know who he relied on for this PR but it's pretty weak. Other than that, all indications say he's doing a good job. We'll see. Brooks didn't exactly leave the cupboard dry.
