Just a reminder UK will host "Pro Day" on Wednesday. Not only will the Seniors participate, but Juniors will run, lift and work out for any scouts attending. Wednesday will be an opportunity for guys who attended the NFL combine to improve on their results such as Micah Johnson and Trevard Lindley. It's also an opportunity for guys who didn't receive an invite to the combine to show their stuff. This will be a big day for guys like Alfonso Smith and most of the offensive line prospects. Also, guys like Derrick Locke and Chris Matthews will use this opportunity to receive feedback and get noticed heading into their Senior season.

This is huge!
ReplyDeleteWe are now getting more players into the league than many so called "Power Programs" ie ND, and for this year, we had more invitees to the Combine than UGA.
I am sure that since '07, it would be surprising to all to see what teams we have surpassed in getting players into the league, both drafted and undrafted Free Agents.
