DE Desmond Floyd (6-5 230) of Union County will attend USC's spring game Saturday. Floyd talked with Gamecock recruiter Shawn Elliott on Tuesday. "He was just telling me about the spring game," Floyd said. "I like South Carolina a lot. It's an in state school, plus the coaches are real nice." Floyd is an excellent student and said academics will be his priority when picking a school. He also has offers from Duke, Kentucky, Maryland and West Virginia. His father will join him on the USC visit. And he plans to visit NC State next weekend. Floyd said he does not have a favorite.
I continue to hear Duke is his leader at this time and UK would be in his top three.
