Chip Cosby has a great article on Ridge Wilson and the possible role the linebacker could take on in 2010. Wilson is playing linebacker and learning to play defensive end on third downs. The staff feels Wilson could be similar to former Cat Johnny Williams in that role. Based on the articles and feedback I have received, it sounds like Ridge will likely back up Jacob Dufrene this fall. One thing is clear, Ridge has the ability and once things start to click he could be a very special player for UK.
