Forisse "Flo" Hardin Interview

About a week ago, I had the opportunity to interview Forisse “Flo” Hardin regarding his football recruitment. Currently, Flo has offers from Kentucky and Indiana while Illinois, Cincinnati, Purdue, Virginia, Louisville and Stanford are showing serious interest.

Flo told me academics were very important to him. While his ultimate goal is to make to the NFL someday, he wants to make sure he has an education as well. He attended Junior days at Indiana, Kentucky and Louisville and has a teammate (DeVante Parker) who is committed to Louisville.

He bragged about Indiana’s weight room and told me the Hoosier’s were remodeling the stadium. He said some similar things about Louisville and told me, “I know most of the guys at Kentucky.” He feels the coaches are making changes at each of these programs.

He recently attended the Nike Combine at Cincinnati and will attend another on May 22nd. He plans to attend some summer camps, but hasn’t finalized the details. David Turner is handling his recruitment for Kentucky. He said, “Coach Turner is real cool, down to earth.” Flo told me he hopes to make a decision in August. Some people feel Flo is Indiana’s to lose because his brother plays for the Hoosier’s. Flo told me his brother wasn’t putting any pressure on him and he has a sister who attends Kentucky.

Most schools are recruiting Flo to play strong safety while others are looking at him to play outside linebacker. He has already taken the ACT and should not have any issues being eligible. He is currently 6’1” and 195 lbs. He runs the forty yard dash in 4.5 seconds.
