Well, clearly one is TE. We have a number of candidates but none has really distinguished themselves. I think 3 or 4 of them can play -- including the incoming frosh -- so sorting out that logjam will be challenge #1. And, it is really a two-step problem. First, who are the 3 or 4 guys that we think can play and secondly, what do we do with the remaining 4 or 5 that we do not think we can play. We just have SO MANY bodies at TE.
ReplyDeleteA similar quandary exist at WR. The only thing that mitigates that situation is that we probably need about 6 guys rather than 2 or 3.
The interior of the OL still has questions, but I think those will be resolved nicely.
Lastly, we need to decide the RB rotation and decide which of the freshmen red shirt. We have 6 or 7 viable RBs, lead, of course, by Locke. So, it is a nice problem to have, but one that will need to be managed carefully.
^Couldn't have put it better myself.
ReplyDeleteThe adjustment of Moncell Allen switching from RB to FB. Not much depth at the FB position for the football Cats but I think Moncell is more than capable. Can't wait to see the Turtle blow some fools up!
