Travis Elliott (2012-RB) Update

Travis Elliott (2012-RB) from Ryle High School in Kentucky had an excellent camp at Kentucky this past weekend. Travis posted a 4.57 forty yard dash time and a 33" vertical jump. He will now attend camps at NC State, Cincinnati, Illinois, Virginia and Toledo. Travis has UK ties as his uncle played basketball at UK back in the '80's under Coach Hall. Travis is making a name for himself in the 2012 class and appears to be one of the top players for 2012.

  1. Watched this kid play last year against Simon Kenton. Had an outstanding game but was overshadowed by the performance of Miles Simpson (UK signee). But make no mistake about it, this kid is a man amongst boys. Big, strong kid who will run people over but athletic enough to catch the ball out of the backfield. Heard he was benching 350 lbs. as a sophomore. Would love to see this kid sporting the Blue and White!

  2. Watched this kid yesterday at the University of Cincinnati camp! Could tell the coaching staff at Cincinnati was extremely high on him. Very fast and strong RB that moves extremely well. Catches the ball very good and made a one hand reception during the one on ones that the coaches at UC loved.
With 2 BCS Bowl appearances the last two years and the rise of the UC program this kid could possibly be on his way to the Big East!

  3. I go to school with Travis...He is an animal, just last night I was in the bleachers at Ryle and watched him rush for 3 TD's and catch a TD pass too.
