Tuesday's Kentucky Football Links

ESPN has released their power rankings after week 3 and the Cats are No. 10. As UK fans we expect the low rankings by the media. Personally, I feel the Cats should be No. 7 or No. 8 on this list right now. Also, ESPN has named their SEC players of the week and to no surprise, Derrick Locke receives the special teams honor.

Chip Cosby from the Hearld-Leader talks about the UK-Florida match-up and explains why UK can't afford to make any mistakes. I agree with Rich Brooks, the Cats need to hang around in this game and avoid the knockout. Kentucky can't afford any turnovers and our offense must run the ball to eat clock and keep our defense off the field. If not, the Gators speed will really hurt UK.

The Cincinnati Enquirer writes about the new Kentucky program versus the old. I agree with Ricky Lumpkin, the old UK team's would have found a way to lose to Louisville this past weekend. This UK team didn't hang their heads and found a way to win. As fans, we have to give Rich Brooks and his coaching staff credit for changing the mindset of the players.
