Nice article by the Courier-Journal on UK fullback John Conner. UK got a steal when Connor decided to walk-on at UK. Rick Brooks states that Conner is "the glue that helps our offense function". DeQuinn Evans (hip-flexor), Jorge Gonzalez (knee sprain), Moncell Allen (thigh bruise) were held out of practice yesterday. Randall Burden and Matt Lentz had no contact in practice yesterday and Lentz will have no contact all week.
In case you missed it yesterday, Ridge Wilson returned to practice with the team from suspension. His status for Saturday's game is unclear.
UK has gotten involved with Jackie Williams (Prichard, AL) wide receiver. Williams is being recruited by Southern Miss, Troy and Oklahoma. We'll see if UK is able to get him on campus for a visit.
Urban Meyer is reporting that six Gators have flu-like symptoms, but only one is a starter.
