Gameday UK Football Links and Notes

Auburn is not just keying on Randall Cobb, they are watching the entire offense. Cobb does a lot for the Cats; kick return, punt return, receiver, quarterback and water boy. Expect Randall Cobb to have 20-25 touches during the Auburn game.

The Huntsville Times writes about the tough schedule UK has faced thus far and the impact it's had on the team. As Derrick Locke says in the article, "In the SEC, that's what it's like week in and week out, that's what we came here for. It's another opportunity for us."

Corey Peters defends Mike Hartline and feels that some fans are happy about Hartline's injury. Let's hope Mike Hartline has a speedy recovery and makes it back to be the starting QB in UK's fourth consecutive bowl game.

The Mobile Press writes that Derrick Locke is the key to UK's success. Locke has the ability to change a game on any given play. He can return a kick off for a touchdown, break a long run or line up as a receiver to make a play.

In case you didn't see the game tonight, UK commit Raymond Sanders put on a show on ESPNU. All of the hype coming into the game was about Mack Brown (Florida commit), but Sanders stole the show. There were a ton of D-1 recruits playing in this game which led Lane Kiffin to fly in on a helicopter. Sanders scored two touchdowns and showed that he is very versatile. During the post game interview, Sanders spoke highly of Kentucky and sounds solid in his commitment. Great exposure for Sanders and Kentucky football tonight.
