Larry Vaught writes that UK has a true Kentucky offensive line. Historically the state of Kentucky hasn't produced a lot D1 players like other states. With that said, Most of UK's key offensive linemen are from the state of Kentucky. Justin Jeffries says that the line takes pride in representing their home state and they want all the top lineman in the state to play at UK.
Brett Dawson writes that big hits don't clear Trevathan's name. The article jokes about Rich Brooks pronunciation of Danny's last name. Trevathan's story is a good one, in which most scouts that he was too small to play linebacker in college. He has proven that he can play linebacker at the highest level, in the SEC. Danny has the speed and athleticism to be a great college player and potentially play in the NFL.
In case you missed it last night, Jeff Drummond from TCP reported via Twitter that UK is still in the mix with 4-star offensive lineman Eric Mack. UK's win over Auburn must have made an impression. Mack has already taken a visit to Auburn and really likes the Tigers. He remains committed to South Carolina, but has said he will take all five official visits. It appears his recruitment is still wide open. It will also help if Donte Rumph enrolls in January. Rumph has committed to UK twice now and appears to be enrolling in January as a grey-shirt.
The Cat Walk Saturday will start at 4:45 pm outside Gate One at Commonwealth Stadium. See you there!
