Thursday's Lunch time UK football links

Something we will continue to do on this site is bring info about the opposing team each week. Here is a nice article by the Courier-Journal on Auburn's QB. Chris Todd starred at E-Town and was recruited by UK. Todd played high school football with UK offensive lineman Zipp Duncan. The article points out that Todd could be the best QB in the SEC thus far. He is second in the league in passing yards, passing touchdowns and third in passing efficiency.

Eric Crawford and Rick Bozich give their predictions on the UK-Auburn game. They make some great points in the video, but neither give the Cats a chance against Auburn.

Chip Cosby writes that UK's offensive line has come a long way. It was just a couple of years ago UK didn't have the depth at offensive line to conduct a full scrimmage in practice. UK starts four seniors on the offensive line so this unit has great chemistry and they feel they can run the ball against any team in the country.

John Clay gives his pros and cons to starting Morgan Newton against Auburn. If Newton is the best quarterback then it's an easy decision. It's simple, UK needs to choose the player that gives them the best opportunity to win.
