After Auburn, UK aims to build on their credentials. UK has three consecutive home games which are all winnable games. My biggest concern is that UK will have a let down since the bye week was so early and the team knows the toughest part of their schedule is behind them. UK must take care of business early against La-Monroe and then again against Eastern Kentucky to get the key players as much rest as possible for the final three SEC games. UK's season could be a special one if the team can stay focused.
In case you missed it yesterday, Micah Johnson was named SEC Defensive Player of the Week. Johnson continues to play at a high level and appears to be ready to make his case to the NFL scouts.
The buzz continues with UK commit Raymond Sanders who played on ESPNU last Friday. Sanders put on a show and showed his play making ability. I have to admit, after watching Sanders, I'm really excited to see what he can do at the next level. The UK coaching staff needs some credit for getting in on Sanders early. He may not have the size to play at Tennessee, but neither did Randall Cobb, right?
