Brooks has done it the right way

Mary Story has a great article on Rich Brooks stating the head coach has done things the right way. No doubt, Rich Brooks is first class and will be missed. In my opinion, he is one of the last "old-school" coaches and everyone is going to miss his style. Rich Brooks made some decisions that wasn't popular among players, fans or the media. Just a couple of years ago, Brooks suspended Curtis Pulley which changed the teams offense tremendously. Brooks wasn't concerned about winning games as much as doing the right thing. Just this year, Brooks promoted Morgan Newton to quarterback over Will Fidler. While the fans and media seemed to be on board, there were a lot of players who wanted Fidler to start. Brooks has always put the UK Football Program first and made decisions he felt was in the best interest of the program.
