Getting to know UK's unsung hero's

Here is a great Q&A with UK's Zip Duncan by Chip Cosby. There is no doubt the offensive line has been the biggest reason for success over the past couple of seasons. UK will lose four starters after the Music City Bowl to graduation, but the underclassmen will step in nicely next season.

  1. Starting Oline talent will continue. Probably the most questionable position will be OLT on Offense (not sure after Durham and B J Murphy who we have that will be a real player? Ulinski? Kevin Mitchell? T Eatman?) There should be enough talent for minimal injuries but an onslaught like in '08 might cause some problems.

HOWEVER, we are still in a better position here than we have been in my lifetime.

  2. The coaches are big on Ulinski. I hear is crushes people while run blocking, but needs to improve his pass blocking. He will be a stud.

  3. Bill, it is nice to have depth. I know we lose alot but hopefully we have the talent waiting to fill the hole like I think we do. It was nice that we were able toget a couple of the younger guys into the rotation so that they have experience. I love this blog, bang up job Aaron.
