Jonathan Brown (Memphis, TN) has decided to play for Illinois next season. Brown (pictured above) is a linebacker and UK had been involved. It seemed pretty clear that UK was out of the picture considering the Cats have received other commitments from linebackers.Curtis Weatherspoon has signed with South Florida for 2010. Weatherspoon is a Juco linebacker from Dean CC in Massachusetts. UK had shown some interest in him too. Also, UK was involved with Weatherspoon's teammate, Duncan McGriff (WR) for 2010.

I think he was a second option behind Williamson. Sometimes kids hurt themselves when they wait to give a commitment.
