More Recruits leaving Tennessee

I couldn't resist the opportunity to take a shot at Lane Kiffin. After his tweet before the Kentucky game and his comments afterwards, there is no respect for him or his actions. Several top UT recruits have already bailed on the program. Rumors are still flying that Will Muschamp, David Cutcliffe, Jon Gruden and even Phil Fulmer have been contacted about the head coaching position. Many people feel the new coaching staff will try to lock up in-state recruits which could hurt UK. If UK plays their cards right, it shouldn't be much of an issue. GO CATS!

  1. Mike Hamilton, the UT AD, said Fulmer was not a candidate during his press conference. How would not comment on who else may or may not. So I think you can rule out Fulmer. Most down here in Knoxville think it is Muschamp, with some rumors saying that a tentative deal has been reached. Of course, We all remember when Billy D agreed to coach at UK too. But I am pretty sure you can rule out Fulmer. I am really surprised there isn't more talk about Gruden unless he has just not shown interest at all. And really not a lot of rumblings about Cutcliff. I keep telling them that Hal Mumme is available.

Also, a guy I know who grew up with Pat Summit's son is saying that there may be a change at AD. So this could get real ugly for UT.
