Last night I had the opportunity to interview Christian Wallace, one of the top quarterbacks in the state of Kentucky for the 2011 class. Christian's family recently moved and he will play for Ballard High School next season in stead of South Oldham. Therefore, he will have two key receiving targets in DeVante Parker and Flo Hardin.
Christian was a great interview, he told me that he is receiving the most interest from Indiana right now followed by Western Kentucky. Based on our conversation, he wants to hear more from the in-state schools. He said, "I'm probably the only person in Louisville who likes both UK and Louisville". He has taken unofficial visits to both Indiana and WKU and will likely attend Indiana's camp this summer. He also plans on attending several other camps this spring and summer and said, "I will probably be all over the place".
Ideally, Christian would like to have his college decision made before the start of his senior season. He really feels Ballard has a good shot to the win a state championship next year and told me, "I hate losing". Christian has a 3.3 GPA and shouldn't have any issues getting qualified. He is currently taking prep classes for the ACT/SAT.
Based on the film I have reviewed and posted on the site, Christian fits the "Pro-Style" mold. He is currently listed at 6'4" and 195 lbs. I asked Christian what part of his game he needed to work on the most for the next level and he told me "I want to get bigger, faster, stronger".

Wallace goes to ballard now? Do you think they got a chance against Trinity and St.X this year? I know Ballard has some athletes on them this year.
ReplyDeleteI would say with Wallace at Ballard throwing to Parker and Hardin, they have a shot at beating anyone.
ReplyDeleteGame one - 170 yards 3 TD's to three different receivers in one quarter of play.
