Joker Presser

Here is the link to the Joker Presser. It is a very good statement on how this program has progressed in the past years as well.

  1. Did Robinson from Tennesse/sign or not?

  2. I am really surprised with the way the class came around today. It turned out much better than I thought it would. This could very well be a special class as it seems it is very balanced from top to bottom. Plenty of speed and athleticism. A GREAT DAY for our program.

  3. I think the late gains FAR out-weighed the late losses. It hurt to lose Gates and Smith, but to pick up Alex Smith, Priester, Patterson, Miles and Gainer more than makes up for it. Then, throw in Rumph (we hope) and Bailey.

Also, we were so concerned about Howard and a few other RBs, but unless I am mistaken, Gainer is rated higher than any of them.

Sure, we didn't get Thornton or the big OL from Ohio, but reallisitcally our chances there were very slim anyway.

By any measurment, this has to be considered a very fine class. And, for what its worth, once the late additions are figured in it will have to jump substantially from that mid-50s rating.

  4. I agree with all of you guys! These last 2 classes are extremely talented. I know that I said that this one was the best ever and it may have been, but wew are definitely deepening the talent on the roster.

  5. The 2010 class is better than 2009 in my opinion. UK has several kids that should be rated 4-star recruits. Several will help the team next year.

I'm a little suprised that McAdoo will be on OL, but that could change. Recruiting still isn't done. It appears Wynn from Atlanta is going to ECU. He called UK last week, but nothing came of it. Also, I'm still not sure about Patrick Swilling. He is another. Overall I am excited about "Operation Win".

The 2011 class will be small unless The Rock runs a few off, which isn't a bad thing. Also, there are typically a few casualties (grades, transfers, etc). Joker's the new sheriff so things will be done different.

I'm hearing UK could have received another commitment today, but it could be 2011. I don't have a name, just what I heard from someone close to UK.

    GO CATS!
