I was at the spring game and I don't believe any of the 3 QB's are upper level SEC caliber. Middle of the pack at best. After watching Saturday I'm already concerned about the louisville game, let alone the SEC outside of Vandy. All 3 made poor choices on passing into double or better coverage and against an SEC secondary ALL would have been intercepted more. Newton's pass int. in the end zone was ridiculous, he should have thrown the ball away. Hartline panics in the pocket and can't run at all. We better all hope we improve quickly in the fall or we're in big trouble.
ReplyDeleteDefensively we still don't wrap-up when tackling in the secodary. You'd either learn this or not play for me. I'll take the inexperience and have real tacklers than the other. Guy will NEVER wrap-up, it's a habit he refuses to change. Woe is us when a runner breaks free to the secondary!
