The Bleacherreport has an article showing how that the number of Stars that a High School football player has when being recruited by colleges does not necessarily translate to being a 1st round NFL Draft prospect. While some College football fans get carried away by the Star Method of some of the College Football Recruiting Services, this shows that using that method is not always a reliable measuring stick in trying to figure out who the impact players are going to be at the College level.
Remember, a better way to figure out how a player stacks up in college is to look at the schools who are recruiting a player. Afterall, College coaches get paid for a reason, and that reason is not to be wrong!
