My dad, born and bred as a UK basketball fan, was a third generation coal miner in Pike County. Before he passed away from cancer two years ago, I was able to take him to his first football game which was the win against UofL in '07. I will never forget the look on his face as he tried to take in the noise on the winning touchdown. That's the latest and greatest memory of my dad.
