Player Profile: Brian Adams
Adams is from Gainesville, Georgia where he was rated a 3* prospect. He looks to be the sleeper in the WR core. Many people raved about his size and speed. He also spent the spring playing baseball. He is a very gifted athlete overall and I think he will make an impact this year.

I think he is still listed as a two star on Rivals recruit list, but I think playing QB and health issues hurt his rating. They also list him at 4.5 in the forty, but all I have seen lately is 4.4 listings. Definitely another underrated prospect that UK's coaching staff did a good job of grabbing early. He sounds like a very exciting prospect to me, can't teach that combination of size and speed.
ReplyDeleteI think the 4.4 times come from articles about various camps that he attended. He reportedly ran something ridiculous like 4.37 at UT but I have no idea how it was timed.
ReplyDeleteRegardless, you have to be fast to be a pinch runner and I can't wait to see his size and speed on the field. The idea of Adams (6'4), Matthews (6'5) and King (6'4) on the field at the same time with Cobb would give any secondary nightmares.
Both Adams and King were HS QB's. Adams is a great athlete and Tee Martin told me he is the fastest receiver on the team. I'm not sure about his route running ability, but he should see action and likely help out on special teams too! Kid is fast!
ReplyDeleteBA is not Brian Adams. It's Bad @$$ and he will be tough to keep off the field. He's a freak.
