Saturday Morning UK Links and Notes

Derrick Locke will see some action today against La-Monroe. Hopefully the Cats can take care of business early and Locke can get some much needed rest in the 2nd half. Also, look for Winston Guy to take his spot on kick offs. I would be surprised if Locke returns any kicks.

Brett Dawson writes that the Quarterback plot thickens for both teams today. Both teams are playing without their starting QB's and use the "wildcat" package. This should play into UK's hands on defense. La-Monroe will use Cody Wells (redshirt freshman) and Darrell McNeal (receiver) at QB today.

Chip Cosby writes that Warford playing hurt and great. Paul Warford provided a lot of stability against Auburn and will continue to be a leader in the UK secondary.

Chip Cosby also writes that Cats are wary of Louisiana-Monroe. Simply put, La-Monroe isn't a SEC team and the Cats need to come out and dominate like a SEC team should today.
