How UT Recruiting Losses may Impact UK

There have been several posts, and opinions on the internet about what the UT Recruiting losses mean to UK. Some are implying that this is the prime opportunity for UK to swoop in and "steal" some of those UT recruits and make them UK recruits; however, this is the exact opposite way to consider the matter. The correct way, to understand the impact to UK Recruiting is to understand that UT may seize the opportunity to steal recruits from other schools which are considered less prestigious than them IE Kentucky (McAdoo, T Robinson, and others which grew up with a love for the Big Orange. They can easily sell it to kids who grew up with the dream of playing in Knoxville). Other schools like Vandy (Jerrell Priester) also hold valuable players for Dooley to reroute to Knoxville.

The last time that I looked at UT Verbals showed that there were 15 verbals (with 2 Soft Verbals-IIRC), this means that UT needs 10 more to fill out this class and remember that they were already down several recruits from the 85 alloted scholly. It is much too late in the process for UT to "begin recruiting anew"; however, look for them to start poaching from other schools especially ones which are known to have men that were originally wanting to attend Knoxville, if I were them, I would start at UK!
