As a note, it is interesting that Anterio Sloan (CB from Arkansas) is no longer listed as a verbal to UK on the Rivals site. He is a 4* which has been discussed at length on this site as well as others.
Wonder if that means that Joker & Co. are now going after Chris Sharpe?

Don't sweat Sloan's decommitment. The kid can play, but I would rather have Jerrell Priester, Chris Sharpe or Xavier McFadden. These kids will help you in state's where your recruiting has a foundation. - Aaron

ReplyDeleteI've heard grades could be an issue. If he isn't going to qualify then why waste your time? Especially when there are guys like Chris Sharpe who will help you build a pipeline and Xavier McFadden and Jerrell Priester who could keep the SC pipeline strong. No disrespect to Sloan, but how many players from Arkansas does UK have? It's important to have recruiting ties.

ReplyDeleteWho knows. I think Priester is Vandy bound, but anything is possible. UK already has Trimble and Simmons in the class.

I read elsewhere that this was not so much a decommit as it was a case of UK pulling the offer over concerns about a shoulder injury.
