Player Profile: Danny Trevathan

Danny Trevathan may not have been the most highly touted guy coming out of high school, but Trevathan has been solid ever since he's played for the cats. The Leesburg, Florida native was only rated a 2* by rivals, but his 4.6 40 yard dash speed has made him one of the fastest linebackers at UK in recent memory. Trevathan will really need to step up and be the leader on the defensive side of the ball. He is the only returning starting linebacker on the team, and one of the more battle tested ones. Look for Trevathan to have a very good year for the cats.

  1. Trevathon had a very good first year last year and had a good spring game. There wasn't much talk about it but he played with his hand in a cast all last year and he said that hindered him in fighting off blockers. The cast off and a years experience should make him a better player, but we really can't afford to lose him to injury.
