Yesterday afternoon I caught up with Jon Davis regarding his commitment to Kentucky. Last week one report suggested Davis may be "wavering" on his commitment to UK. Davis told me he was still committed to UK and didn't know where the report came from.He went on to tell me schools such as Louisville, Cincinnati and Oregon were still recruiting him and he may take a couple of visits this fall. Davis has built a nice relationship with Coach Turner and said they speak often. UK fans shouldn't be concerned about Davis taking visits. He simply wants to make sure he is making the best decision.
This is no different than DaMarcus Smith, Jamon Brown, Jalen Harrington and Jerrell Moore who are committed to Louisville taking visits to Kentucky. Blake Terry, another UK commit, told me he would be taking some visits with teammates as well. Remember these players only experience recruiting once in their lifetime so it's just part of the process.
