Moncell Allen missed practice today with the flu which could impact his status for Saturday's game. With Derrick Locke being questionable, Allen was expected to receive more carries. Let's hope the "Turtle" gets better and sees some action. Taiedo Smith also missed practice with the flu and is being tested for the swine flu. Hopefully the team doesn't get a case of the flu running through the field house.
Kyrus Lanxter missed practice today with a hamstring injury.
Derrick Locke is listed as questionable for Saturday's game now that swelling in his knee has subsided. Personally, I would dress Locke and only play him if necessary. Locke needs to be as close to 100% as possible against Mississippi State.
Mike Hartline is making progress and working hard to get back on the field. He still has swelling in his knee and will continue to be evaluated per Rich Brooks.
