Some initial reports are starting to come out regarding the SEC Bowl picture. With Florida and Alabama locks for BCS bids, the chips are starting to fall. The initial reports claim the Outback Bowl has selected Auburn. Many thought Tennessee would receive that bid. While we all would love to see the Cats play in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl, it will be tough for them to pass up Georgia, Tennessee or even South Carolina. Assuming the Chick-Fil-A Bowl doesn't give the Cats an early Christmas present, let's hope the Music City folks don't let down the Big Blue Nation. Bowl Picture taking shape?

After all, Cat fans have been good to Nashville in the past.

If Outback does take Auburn, and Chick-Fil-A takes UGA, it would be hard to see the Music City Bowl bypass UT. Although, I would not be surprised to see UT in Atlanta as they really want to play there because they are trying to turn it into a recruiting hotbed. Then, will the Music City take UK over UGA and SC? This year is just crazy.
ReplyDeleteI think we need to turn the UK fans loose on the MCB facebook and twitter pages. I know some may be tired of it, but this would be better for our program I believe, considering what is available.
ReplyDeleteYes, UK Fans need to email, facebook or send out twitter messages to show their support for the Cats playing the Music City Bowl. This game will be prime time on ESPN2 at 8PM EST and could be Bowden's last game too! Huge exposure! I sent out a tweet earlier today with the Music City Bowl twitter ID (on the right side of page).
