Aaron, it seems like the cats are targeting a lot of big time players for next year which is great. It feels like essentially everyone you have posted on here is a border-line four star by at least some of the services. I think that it is great that we are aiming high. Hopefully the additions of Martin, Summers et al to the staff will help reel in some of these big fish.
ReplyDeleteDo you see us as having a legitimate shot with Herrera? Do you think Martin's connections to Georgia will help? Do you think the cats would take both Dawson and Herrara, I would guess that we would?

James, after speaking with Dawson, the Cats clearly want him. Dawson is going to take his time making a decisoin, but in the end I believe he will pick UK.
ReplyDeleteMy guess is Herrera's offer has something to do wtih Martin's connections. The Cats seem to be jumping in late for his services which seems odd to me. Considering he is being offered by Florida and Georgia, etc. Herrera's recruitment will be one to watch over the next few months.
For what it's worth, I would like to see UK have about 5-6 commits heading into the season and lock up the rest during the season. I think their strategy was good this past year.
