Who should call plays in 2010?
Last night some reports came out suggesting Randy Sanders would call the plays for UK's offense next season. I have no problem with Joker handing the keys to Sanders. Joker will be very involved with game planning and UK will be fine with either calling plays. One thing is clear, UK must develop some type of down field passing game. Who do you feel should call the plays next season?

Sanders...Joker should input in planning and final call in crucial game situations. Joker doesnt need to call plays, just be the head coach.
ReplyDeleteWes- I agree...he needs to focus on more than just play calling. I think Sanders may have to move to the press box.
ReplyDeleteUrban Meyer or Bobby Petrino !
ReplyDeleteI'd say Joker or Randy could put up monster stats with either of those arsenals.
ReplyDeleteSanders. Easy.
ReplyDeleteSanders, I think he has been instrumental in helping develop the offense, even when Woodson was here. And he was calling the plays and helping make changes at the line.
ReplyDeleteSanders got a bad rap in Knoxville. When Fulmer made him the OC, he never really gave him control. Sanders last year at UT, he tried to quit midseason because it was that bad between he and Fulmer. They talked him in to staying the whole year.
I think Sanders is going to do well and I would not be surprised to see him gone to a Head Coaching job in 2 years, if not sooner.
