NFL CATS?

Looks like CBS Sports has posted an NFL Draft list for this year's "Annual Selection". It looks like that UK will definitely have some players drafted although I think some of the former CATS are seriously underrated.

Anyways, here is a breakdown with their position ranking and projected round (remember that this is Pre-Combine Rankings):

Micah Johnson #7 ILB 5th
John Conner #8 FB 7th to FA
Trevard Lindley #19 CB 4-5
Corey Peters #21 DT 7th


The Rest of the players all basically have a Free Agent Rating. Here are the rest of this year's edition and their position ranking:

Lones Seiber #16 K

Jorge Gonzalez #24 OC

Zipp Duncan #29 OT

Sam Maxwell #33 OLB

Calvin Harrison #46 SS

Christian Johnson #64 OG

Ashton Cobb #100 FS



My personal observations are that:

1. The CATS are now putting people into the league which is a good thing

2. There are NOT 20 better DTs than Corey Peters (just watch one of the NFL Power teams jump on him in either Round 4 or 5)

3. Micah Johnson is probably rated just a little high but not much

4. John Conner will be drafted before the beginning of the 7th Round

5. Zipp Duncan is a 6th or 7th Round prospect

6. Sam Maxwell will be drafted by the beginning of the 7th Round

7. Trevard Lindley may go at the end of the 3rd Round but definitely by the end of the 4th Round
