Per Jody Demling, Jalen Harrington (2011-LB) who plays at Fern Creek High School in Louisville, KY has committed to Louisville. Harrington joins teammates Jamon Brown (DT) and Jerrell Moore (RB/WR) as Louisville pledges. Charlie Strong has done a great job out of the gate protecting his back yard, however there is still a long way to go. Personally, I don't like early commitments and two of the three players have told me they are still going to take visits and finalize their decision closer to signing day.
Remember, most everyone thought Tim Patterson and teammate Stephan Robinson would play together. In the end, Robinson signed with Louisville and Patterson chose UK. Don't be surprised if a similar scenario plays out. The Fern Creek Trio have made it clear they would like to play together, but it's likely not set in stone just yet. If I had to put percentages on it, I would say they are 75% committed to Louisville. There is something to be said about how the games play out on the field too.
